Josh “Zernoff” Wlodarczyrnoffhk is a seasoned production professional with over a decade of experience in New York’s union film and television industry, where he built his career as an Assistant Director. Trained in large-scale logistical coordination, departmental communication, scheduling, and on-the-ground problem solving, Zernoff has worked at the intersection of creative vision and operational precision — ensuring complex productions move smoothly, safely, and on time.

He holds an Associate’s Degree in Film Production from Santa Fe Community College, where he developed a foundation in cinematic storytelling, production design, and team collaboration. Zernoff’s landlord at the time was an IATSE  Locations Manager in New Mexico, which gave him the early onset experience during Spring and Summer sessions between semesters that sparked his passion for figuring out the production puzzle.

Zernoff previously served as a Float Manager for the NYC Dance Parade, overseeing staging logistics, movement coordination, and communication between performers and production teams. His ability to translate creative chaos into organized flow made him a natural fit for parade-scale production environments.

Currently, Zernoff works on the Events Team at the Ashokan Center in the Hudson Valley, where he supports large-scale public programs, private events, and community gatherings. His work blends hospitality, site logistics, vendor coordination, and guest experience — reinforcing his belief that great events are both technically sound and emotionally resonant.

Beyond production, Zernoff has been immersed in New York’s 5Rhythms dance community, bringing a lived understanding of movement as a universal language. His experience within conscious dance spaces informs his approach to parade production: structure in service of freedom, safety in service of expression, and organization in service of joy.

A self-described “Discoverer,” Zernoff is driven by curiosity, connection, and the belief that shared movement can build community across all backgrounds. As Parade Production Lead, he brings both disciplined production expertise and a dancer’s heart to the streets of New York City.
