Dance Parade’s Community Engagement Programs offers participants of all ages – from schools, recreation facilities to senior centers and public events – opportunities to discover their own innate capacity for the communication of ideas, thoughts, and feelings through the medium of dance.
Each year Dance Parade offers 15-20 teaching artists & professionals working in the field of dance opportunities to expand their reach and create impactful relationships via residencies, workshops, and performances in a diverse range of communities.
Teaching artists interested in Dance Parade’s Community Engagement Program are invited to attend an, Orientation on Friday February 14th from 4-6pm at Judson Memorial Church, 239 Thompson Street, Assembly Hall (Basement), NY NY 10012.
