Jessii Parham

Jessii was born and raised in New York City. Her mother was a flamenco dancer in Seville, Spain and her father was a member of The Drifters singing group. Her love of dance started when she took ballet as a child and grew as she got older.
 
Jessii holds an Associate Degree in Biology from Borough of Manhattan Community College, a Bachelors in Creative Writing from The City University of New York and a Masters in Project Management and International Organization Communication from Northeastern University.
 
Her passion for animals and events have landed her positions at the Bronx Zoo as a Senior Zookeeper, Vet Assistant at the ASPCA, Press Relations Manager at IQA and went on to found Project Jaydyn, a full service Press Relations Agency.  She is currently a sanitarian manager at the New York City Department of Health.
 
As for volunteer work, her experience is extensive. She was a volunteer coordinator/  team lead / chairperson for the following, to name a few:
  • Dance Parade New York
  • NYC Dance Week
  • Broadway Sings for Pride
  • New York wine & food festival
  • The Rio Summer Olympics (equestrian arena)
  • African Genesis Educational Institute
  • The upcoming Japan 2020 Olympics
In addition to volunteering, Jessii is an actress, published author, world traveler, animal conservationist and advocate.  She plays many instruments by ear and can cook up a storm.
