Thank you for your interest in covering the 20th Annual Dance Parade and Festival.
The Application Period for Media passes have ended. If you are a representative of a media outlet or a photographer you can attempt to get one of our 20 standby passes at our Media Check in booth located at 7 West 17th Street, New York, NY 10002 which is open between 10am and 12noon.
Those that have applied for a press pass prior to our Press Conference on May 13th have received notices to their Media Pass applications.
Note: If you already have an NYC Official Press ID, no additional credentials are required.
Passes are only available to approved applicants. Notifications will be sent by May 14, 2026. Approved media may pick up credentials at the Media Registration tent at West 17th Street and 5th Avenue between 10:00 AM–12:00 PM on May 16, 2026 (parade day).
This year, photographers are permitted inside the metal barriers along the parade route, except at the Grandstand, where official filming will take place. Members of press organizations will have access to two recommended viewing areas.
The best place to speak with Grand Marshals and dancers is at DanceFest in Tompkins Square Park following the parade.
