John Dalton, Managing Director, joined Dance Parade NYC in 2016. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. John is a former consultant for McKinsey & Company where he worked with Global 500 companies.

Additionally, he has served as a finance professional and consultant to large and small companies in the United States and Europe since 2000. John’s longtime interest in dance and his background as a Fulbright Scholar specialized in linguistics led to his initiation of the Dance Parade China Committee, working with Chinese community leaders to increase New York audience’s exposure to Chinese culture and dance.

John has focused his work at Dance Parade on developing media and television opportunities that resulted in a live broadcast of the 2017 parade, complete with studio commentary, interviews and full coverage of the event. John’s focus on building strong teams and developing human capacity within the Dance Parade organization has helped to set the stage for the parade to become a model that fosters cultural exchange and understanding worldwide.
