Students have a unique opportunity to learn about and appreciate the rich tapestry of cultures represented in our global community.

• Inspirational Classes & Performances: Our teaching artists conduct engaging and interactive multi-week cultural residencies year round that not only teach dance techniques but also delve into the historical and cultural significance of each dance form. 30-45 min in-school assembly performances introduce students to the dynamic world of dance. Residencies are tailored to suit the age and grade level of your students, making the learning experience both educational and enjoyable.

• Community Engagement: Our dance programs encourage community involvement, allowing students to perform at school events, local events (like the 18th Annual Dance Parade & Festival in May), or even host cultural dance showcases. This fosters a sense of pride, teamwork, and responsibility in your students while creating a positive impact on the school's reputation within the local community.

Dance Parade's unique dance education programs are available to schools in all 5 boroughs, empowering students to share the joy of dance as a global community. Each year, our Dance Parade and DanceFest in Manhattan, held on the traditional territory of the Lenape people, serve as a culminating platform for students to showcase their talents and celebrate the richness of cultural diversity through dance.
