Darya is proud to have danced in the first Dance Parade and volunteered as a spacer and a sound monitor in recent parades. She will be serving the Steering Committee as Project Manager, and is very excited about the role. She likes spreadsheets and bullet point lists, and checking in with folks.
Outside of Dance Parade, Darya enjoys working with technology, building participatory art installations, and acting. Her dance journey started with swing and skate dance, and she's enthusiastically so-so at both. Her love of dance really blossomed a few years ago when she discovered the freedom of the 5Rhythms practice. She can't help bobbing and shimmying to any music she hears.
