Victoria Crispo has been studying belly dance since 1999, embodying a wide range of emotions through the art form and has performed in various venues throughout NY and NJ, such as Cleopatra’s, The Lafayette Grill, The Cornerstone, The Grisly Pear, and the Nile. She was cast as the belly dancer in The Arabian Nights at The Circle Players’ Theatre and participated in the ensemble cast for Tarot: Fantasy Bellydance at Merce Cunningham Theatre. She is a proud member of the Urban Desert Dancers troupe, directed by Gia al Qamar. Victoria provides instruction to beginner students on Staten Island in a fun and nurturing style and promotes a sense of empowerment, relaxation, and emotive expression and enjoys bringing a little sparkle and panache to her audiences. Her daytime gig consists of assisting college students and job seekers with career search and job applications. A live music enthusiast, Victoria can also be seen at local drum circles. She is thrilled to spread her devotion to dance as a volunteer for Dance Parade 2012!
