We seek passionate folks to help us curate the post-parade festival in Tompkins Square Park!
Committee members should have a background in professional or pre-professional dance.

Role of Committee:

(1) Programs DanceFest 2012 events, contacting talent on an invitation-only basis;
     a) Using Dance Parade’s website’s database, programs one 4-hour stage show on Stage A (Old Band Shell) starting from 3 and ending at 7pm. Each act will be no more than 4-5 minutes in length. There may be a 20minute intermission in the middle. There should be time allotted for Grand Marshal Awards at 4pm.
     b) Programs one 4 hour run of The Teaching Stage (“Stage B”). There should be at least 8 lessons starting from 3pm and finishing at 7pm.
     c) Programs up to 10 site specific locations for site-specific dancers throughout the Tompkins Square Park. Emphasis should be on visual

(2) Prepares and executes an artist participation agreement with all artists participating in the festival.

(3) Provides festival lineup to Marketing Committee for use on the website and parade/festival program.

(4) Assists with stage Management, script for emcee and execution of Festival performances
