Seeking Volunteer Coordination Committee Co-Chair

Dance Parade, Inc, the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that produces New York’s Annual Dance Parade and Festival is seeking a Co-Chair for it’s Volunteer Coordination Committee. We seek an individual who is able to commit a minimum of a few hours per week to recruit and facilitate team administrative functions that provide infrastructure for the 10th Annual Dance Parade and Festival happening May 21st 2016.

Tasks to include: Welcoming new members to the organization, setting up email accounts and planning team meetings and conference calls. Nurturing relationships and strong communication are important aspects of this position.

Dance Parade’s Volunteer Coordination Committee Co-Chair will have:

– Excellent written and oral communication skills

– The ability to work independently

– Experience working with dancers or creative personell

– Bachelor’s degree

– Powerful drive and motivation
