Engaging the Community – Join a Dance Class that ends with Parade Participation!

For 2016 Dance Parade offers 3 types of dance education programs, “Ageless Action”, “Community Kinect” and “Cultural Residencies”, described below.  These programs are provided in all five New York City boroughs and all culminate with participation in the 10th Annual Dance Parade and DanceFest in May!

 

AGELESS ACTION:

NYC Parks and Recreation annual fee is $100-150 (10% discount with NYC ID), 18 and under it is free, and $25 annual fee for seniors and young adults 18-24. 6-mo memberships available for half the price!

 

CULTURAL RESIDENCIES:

We offer multi-week residencies focusing on culturally specific dance forms.

IS 347 School of Humanities in Bushwick, Brooklyn has a matching grant offered by Gratitude NYC. Click here to help them get African dance with FUSHA Dance Company into their school.
